Typical night in Osaka, Japan. Meeting my friends at Triangle Park where young people taunt the police and get away with it. Took my friends to a bar where you can meet a person from every country in the world, as people dance on bar tops. Then the party stops at 6 am and its time to eat a huge bowl of pork cutlet curry udon. SOOOOOO GOOD!! It's definitely going to be hard to leave this place!

I love items like this skirt and the jacket in my last blog. Pieces that are so colorful and bold that it makes your entire outfit. My closet pretty much consists of pieces like this. So colorful that there is no real logical way that I can color coordinate my closet. But its always fun to look at!

Playing around with different things on my camera because basically I don't understand cameras at all. I'm using a Canon S90 because the guy at the electronics store told me its a good starter camera for beginners. I've had if for about 2 years now and I haven't learned how to do much. My friend used to sit down with me and explain aperture, light, focus, etc. I didn't really get it then and I still don't get it now. I want to buy a real pro camera but it would be quite useless until I figure out how to use it... Gosh I really want to be able to take good quality pictures! Any camera advice anyone???

In Limbo

The sun is warm but the wind is cold. I won't complain yet since I still have a month of rainy season ahead of me. Can't wait for summer!

Ring of Fire

Woke up at 5:30 am to observe the annular solar eclipse from one of the tallest buildings in Osaka, Japan. Unfortunately, so did thousands of other people so my boyfriend and I stayed on the ground to watch it. He bought us cool viewing glasses!

Apparently this hasn't happened in Japan in over 900 years so I'm glad I woke up for it. But I experienced a huge culture shock shortly after when my boyfriend and I went on an adventure to find a restaurant that served pancakes for breakfast. Apparently, you can't eat pancakes whenever you like in countries besides America. Not even at 8 am in Japan! I will totally use this memory to justify my pancake over-consumption when I return to the States.

Honestly, I'm not in love. I think this is such a huge turn from his spring/summer line which were so sexy and unique. These are also very unique but they have a more costume feel to me.
