Happy Birthday America... Love, Japan

First off, I'm free!!! I had a really hectic schedule the past couple of weeks but it has temporarily come to an end. For all of my work and to keep from getting stressed, I'm treating myself to a solo vacation next month! Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia -> Koh Samet, Thailand -> Bangkok, Thailand!! So excited to be pampered in luxurious hotels, go sight seeing and shopping, and of course to soak up the sun on a beautiful beach!

The 4th of July is one of my all-time favorite holidays. My family extravagantly celebrates EVERY national holiday but the 4th is pretty HUGE! BBQ all day long and fireworks. This day really made me miss home and think about how much longer I will stay in Asia. I was also in a bad mood towards my boyfriend and he didn't deserve it.

But, thankfully, I got a little help from my friends who decided to have an Americans only dinner at an American restaurant. Our only choice was the Hard Rock Cafe but it was the next best thing to actually being in America. The ribs tasted like home (well not quite as good) and they played Whitney Houston's rendition of the Star Spangled Banner on all the screens then after we realized we weren't the only Americans there as tables began to chant "USA! USA!"
Came from work so I have no makeup and I look pretty gross lol. It was my first time going to Hard Rock in Japan but I want to say thank you to them for making me feel close to home on the most important day for our country. THANKS!!!
Shirt: MSGM (altered and worn backwards), Shorts: Forever 21, Wedges: (Japanese brand)

Hard Rock Cafe was a great choice in my opinion =) We have one here in Macao! and it's okay to feel homesick sometimes..

Anyways, I love your star-spangled top (I think I like all your tops, haha)..I followed you already, hope you come by again my blog sometimes!

And thanks for the tip, I think I will!
